didn't remove the files from his queue, so I did it for him, this time without banning him. He said "great!! thanks!!!!" again, and again. So I messaged him, a little annoyed, with basically the same thing, pointing him here. he'd queued ALL of the radio shows again, along with some other stuff.
It took him a day or so to get all of that, and then I noticed. He did abuse the privilege and queue up about 700MB at once but my queue was fairly free and he seemed to be getting them quite quickly so I just left him to it. I rememebered that I only banned him 'cos all the music shows were here, so I unbanned him and told him to help himself but not to queue up TOO much at one time. He said "hey man can i get ur pls?!?!?!?!". Until a few months later - his username is very unique so I remembered him. I assume it works as I got no further messages from him. So I ban him in the hope it'll MAKE him get them from the site. but leaves them all downloading, and it stays that way for hours.

There's this idiot who does a similar thing to what you describe there, I used to be sharing all of the old Morris R1 show encodes and this guy queued them ALL up. Yeah I have more than one story, but one particular idiot stands out: I've also had people who are downloading really big files off me, and I've sent them a message saying "you can get it quicker off suprnova, which you need bittorrent for", and they either ignore me and keep downloading or go "Wtf is bittorrent dood? How do I get it?1 How dz it works?11" and keep downloading after I explain.Īm I just been very intolerant, or are their some real tits on Soulseek? Anyone else got stories? A few times I've actually had people select about 500 different files from my shared folder and started them off downloading, then when I've looked at their info they have 'No files shared', '1 upload allowed' and a message on their user info that says "Only 4 downloadz at 1 time doodz, anymore and u get band!11" I've found this to be common among dickheads on soulseek. So anyway, I go to browse his files, and what a surprise, he's not sharing anything.

Just now, for example, someone called "chilloutproject" downloaded a dvd region free software off me, then starting trying to talk to me: I've noticed since getting the program how many absolute idiots there are using it. This might belong in SE, but I guess Soulseek is more than justmusic, so here goes.
