So far, everything I've looked at (M-Audio & Novation) is really focused on integrating with DAW's and what I'm looking for is really the best MIDI focused/non computer based solution. I need a controller that has the ability to send out MIDI CC#'s as flexibly as possible.

It did play I got this wierd piano sound I changed the presets and when you press the review button its the same sound with a lot of delay after playing the keys. Thanks for the reply its hooked up via IEEE1394 firewire port. if that's the case then maybe you haven't selected the correct audio driver/settings for your soundcard. I think what you mean is latency, so when you press the key sound comes a bit later.

What Midi input are you using? and what midi output? Check this in Sonar in track inspector.Īnd what audio driver mode are you using? (Options/Audio/advanced) You don't need the emu xboard control software to play midi in sonar, just keep the keyboard on and close the emu program.
